Sadly, if porn's primary existence is due to mistreated and abused children, then porn may be with us for a long, long, time. There is no shortage of abusers... yet.

I don't believe porn exists due to child abuse, it definitely contributes to it, but is not solely responsible for porn. Moral depravity, by both the creators of & the consumers of porn, is likely enough to have brought it into existance. Men & women have oggled each other long before photography & film were invented. The worlds "oldest profession" was born from lust, and lust was born from coveting what another has that we don't have. Our ongoing forbidden fruit as it were. IMHO
Over all I liked The Case Against Porn, Part 1, it was quite good regarding a subject that needs focus.
Hello! Hey I meant to write to you again—my first reply to your comment was a bit long winded and I realized after I wrote it that it may have come across a bit heavy-handed. Anyways, I do appreciate what you said and it got me to finesse my view on things a bit. I have a rather broad definition of child abuse that pretty much covers everyone (not to be cynical per se, but dang our society is unhealthy!).
