The Best Book on the Mind I've Ever Found—and an Update
Some Thoughts on the Mind and Some Previews of Articles to Come
Every now and again you find a book that completely changes your perspective on literally everything. Recently, I found such a book that I now consider to be the definitive book on the way the mind is structured. It’s called The Law of Psychic Phenomena, by Thomas Jay Hudson, and it was published in 1893. I’m going to share some of my thoughts on it, and then give you guys a general update regarding this substack.
What Savants Have to Teach Us About the Mind
In a nutshell, what this book proves is the fact that the organization of the mind into the “conscious” and “subconscious” parts is necessary precisely because we are, in a sense, two beings in one. That is to say, we have a physical mind and a spiritual (metaphysical) mind. The former he refers to as the objective mind and the latter is the subjective mind. These are, in my opinion, far superior labels for the “conscious” and “subconscious” minds, for they get much closer to the heart of what’s really going on.
Have you ever wondered how it is possible for a savant to be incredibly talented in something like complex mathematics or music, yet barely be able to form sentences in his or her native language? In his book, Hudson explores many cases of people with extraordinary talents who, at the same time, required assistance for basic tasks because they were otherwise completely stunted physically/mentally. There was one story of a child who could perform extremely complex long-division in seconds (he would often give the answer before the questioner was even finished stating the question), yet he never acquired a vocabulary of more than 50 words. How does one even begin to explain such phenomena?
Well, the answer has to do with the fact that we legitimately possess two minds. It really does come down to that—and these two minds are fundamentally different from each other. Ultimately, the subjective mind, aka spirit, is not dependent on the physical body for anything, except for use as a vehicle for existing in the physical domain. The powers of the subjective mind are absolutely extraordinary, and do indeed explain what’s going on with savants. Since a subjective mind isn’t the same thing as the physical body, it’s innate qualities and brilliance remain essentially the same, even if the body is compromised in some way.
A lot of research is needed to figure out how all this works down to granular detail. But the basic premise of this book is utterly sound and congruent with 100% of my experience as a hypnotist. In fact, it solved just about all of the outstanding questions I had about how to model precisely what’s going on in any given hypnotic process. (And since hypnosis is nothing more than applied psychology, this means we’ve truly arrived at a genuine theory of mind—many people claim to have something like that, but I’ve never seen anyone put the facts in order quite like Hudson did).
Ultimate Mystery Solved
Since I began learning hypnosis, there has been one mystery above all that I’ve never been able to figure out until I found Hudson’s book. Namely, if the subconscious mind is so amazingly powerful, then why it is so open for manipulation? The computational powers of the subconscious mind are legendary—and yet, for all its power, it does not distinguish between reality and imagination. (See A Primer on Hypnosis for more on that). Consequently, the subconscious mind can, in some cases, become the source of very self-destructive, irrational behavior (which, believe it or not, the subconscious does in order to benefit you in some way).
Since the objective mind is the mind that is located here in the physical world, that means it didn’t exist prior to the physical body, nor will it exist any longer once the physical body stops existing. It also explains why there seems to be such a massive difference to the computing power between the two minds. The objective mind—aka conscious mind—is extraordinarily powerful, no doubt, but the subjective mind is Godlike. This is because, in contra-distinction to the objective mind, the subjective mind transcends physicality almost entirely (I say almost because it could be argued the subjective mind is itself an “energy being” and energy, strictly speaking, is at least a little bit physical).
The subjective mind is the part of you that continues existing after your current physical body is no more. For all intents and purposes, it is the soul.
Most importantly, the subjective mind is amenable to suggestion in a way that the objective mind cannot possibly be. The objective mind, in fact, does not have the computing power required to generate entire realities like the subjective mind is able to do. Of the two minds, only the subjective mind is capable of responding to, or producing, hypnotic phenomena. If Hudson is correct in his assessment of the minds then that means hypnosis is, in fact, the study of how to use language to cause the soul to “realize” an experience or idea suggested to it.
The objective mind “senses” reality—the subjective mind constructs reality itself (not necessarily literally, but it renders what the objective mind senses into an entire lived experience). Indeed, according to Hudson, the subjective mind is the mind responsible for making the sky blue, the grass green, and so on. It does almost everything for us “in the background” so that the objective mind can stay free to do what it needs to do.
And what is that, you say? The objective mind uses inductive reasoning in order to derive the proper guidance protocols to feedback to the subjective mind. If that doesn’t make sense at first, then don’t worry about it—we will return to this ideas much more in depth in the Proof of God series, where the properties of the subjective and objective minds will be explored even further than they are here.
An Explanation for Their Divergent Natures
Reality theorists—notably, Chris Langan and Walter Russell—have all had to wrestle with the question of how things like objects and dimension could have “sprung out” of the void. For the sake of comprehension, we might even go so far as to divide the Universe into two parts (metaphorically, that is) being:
Dimensional reality—the world of objects, motion, content, etc.
Dimensionless reality—the world of spirit, concepts, ideas, etc.
We can see that the two minds of man seem to correspond with these two “halves” of reality—indeed, this Universal structure of existence is necessary, and therefore it’s only natural that man’s mental makeup would exhibit this duality as well. Everything about the duality of man’s mind makes perfect sense when we recall that he is simultaneously a physical and spiritual being. When we are able to bring these two “halves” of ourselves into rapport then this is truly the birth of Genius.
The fact that this book isn’t considered a foundational text in the field of psychology just goes to show you that the idea that science is “always improving” is a total farce. Plenty of amazing discoveries go forgotten on a regular basis precisely because the mainstream prejudicially rejects anything that doesn’t conform to “official narratives”.
I could say much more about this book—and will—but I still need to gather my thoughts a bit further on all of this. I just wanted you guys to know that this book exists and that it seems, to my mind at least, to explain literally everything I’ve encountered in my years of studying hypnosis.
Indeed, on that note, there is a LOT of content being created in the background, and, considering how long it’s been since my last post, I’d like to give you guys a little preview of what’s to come…
Update
Since many pies are getting baked at once, I’ll give you guys a small sample of each.
Each section below is a small preview of content to come.
[ADDENDUM: the following is a rough sketch of info to come. However due to a recent life interruption I’m going to be publishing the following material in shorter form—this substack, for a couple months, will be somewhat akin to a “scribble pad” until I have the time again to complete long, structured articles again. The truly important information itself shall continue to be made available no matter what.]
The Case Against Porn Part 2: an Objective Basis for Sexual Morality
In 1938 a groundbreaking book entitled Sex and Culture, by JD Unwin, demonstrated (using data from hundreds of societies) that there is a direct correlation between promiscuity and societal decay. In the decades that followed, a theory rose to prominence, known as r/K selection theory, which has utterly vindicated Unwin’s findings. Essentially, this theory groups various people together based on monogamous mating styles vs promiscuous mating styles (which is considered to be a proxy for instinct for parental investment, or lack thereof), and is very accurate at predicting behavioral outcomes therefrom. To put it rather bluntly, “hook up culture” is incompatible with a thriving, stable society. You can either have intact families and a healthy society, or you can have non-stop hook ups—”free love”, in fact, comes with the heftiest price imaginable. To flood a society with pornography is a very powerful way to normalize hook up culture, and those who have flooded Western society with pornography have done so with the intention of destroying it.
In a related vein, groups like the Kinsey Institute have gone out of their way to normalize a the idea that “everyone is secretly freaky”, which simply isn’t true. Like Freud before him, Kinsey characterized the “human animal” as nothing more than a trapped, seething mass of anti-social and rapacious desires—and, thanks to the power of hypnosis, many people have taken such narratives on faith and now “act out” what they believe is true about themselves and the world…
The Case Against Porn Part 3: Addiction and Mimicry
Not many people know this, but Ted Bundy’s last words prior to his execution were, in so many words, “porn made me do it” (paraphrased). This is far more common amongst serial killers than people realize. Author Judith Reisman wrote a book entitled Soft Porn Plays Hardball, wherein she explored the connection between viewing porn and developing a proclivity towards anti-social behavior (Bundy and other serial killers like him represent the extreme end of what is possible).
Like high-fructose corn syrup, porn is a super-stimulant that disorients the senses and hijacks the dopamine circuits of the brain. The deleterious effects of this indeed weaken the constitution of the addicted person. A great way to combat porn addiction is to consider the fact that the women (and men) you’re watching are literal sex slaves. Keeping such facts in mind will go a long way towards dissuading any user who has a functioning conscience. (In my opinion, anyone who habitually views explicit material featuring children needs to be sent back to God.)
The Case Against Porn Part 4: Support for the Porn Industry = Support for the Trafficking Industry
The number of people who go missing every year is absolutely absurd; and the amount of pornography that gets produced on a daily basis is equally absurd. There is simply no way these things aren’t connected.
If we ban porn, then we destroy at least part of the incentive for traffickers. If you ask me, this is a MUCH higher priority than any other consideration that could be make about the situation. To legalize porn is to incentivize traffickers to look for men, women, boys, and girls to pimp out to the worst people on Earth. A great deal of my arguments for banning porn pertain to our collective health as a society—but, even more, we need to ban it for the sake of all the people who wouldn’t be enslaved were it not for the existence of the porn industry in the first place.
It’s really that simple.
Proof of God Part 3: One God, One Universe
In part 1 of the Proof of God series, we promised to describe the essential features of the Cognitive Theoretic Model of the Universe (CTMU), by Chris Langan, which proves beyond any shadow of a doubt that reality can be accurately characterized as a living language. In part 3, we’re going to show how the CTMU utterly debunks the notion of infinite universes, reconciling everything in existence back to the one universe, which only has one God. With such knowledge in hand, it becomes possible to logically deduce certain essential features of this One God, and demonstrate how His nature is indeed consistent (for the most part) with what many religions tell us about Him.
Proof of God Part 4: Ontological Mathematics and the Monadology
Before numbers existed, the Universe was a distinction-less, dimensionless void with no content in it. Numeration made the existence of all objects and events in space-time possible. Mathematics is also a “yoked” system whereby the entire thing stands or falls on its own. 1 + 1 will always equal 2, no matter where you are. The consequences of this fact are profound—for it means that God’s creation is indeed intelligible and lawful. Consequently, all the “post modernist” academicians of the present era who wish to do away with truth entirely (and “relativize” everything) could be accurately described as blasphemers against God.
The Anatomy of Diplomacy
Diplomacy is the art of creating rapport in difficult situations. There is, in fact, just one “maneuver” you need to learn in order to do it skillfully—hypnotists call is “pacing and leading”. If you master the art of pacing and leading, you’ve pretty much mastered the “human domain” (as some might put it). The short version of pacing and leading could be summarized thusly: no one will follow your lead until you first show them you know where they’re at.
Not everyone can be “reached”, but if you know how to pace and lead, you can stack the odds in your favor as high as they can possibly be stacked. Learning how to do this will invariably increase your intelligence, because it forces you to consider more perspectives than your own.
Spiritual Self Defense Part 4: The Nature of Evil
Evil is live in reverse. That which is evil cannot possibly reflect the nature of God, which is generative and creative rather than parasitic/destructive. Ultimately, it really does come down to that. We do not always know how someone became an evil psychopath, but we can say for certain that such creatures need to quarantined from normal society—like men in women’s bathrooms, some people really DO need to be excluded from various places.
Did you know that politics = poly (many) + ticks (bloodsucking parasites)? Oh yes! The purpose of “politics” of today is largely to ensure that psychopathic parasites get to have power over you. Metaphorically, the whole point of politics is to bury you in many ticks. See how that works???
You cannot ask a tick to go away. It must be removed. Such is the nature of evil, and we can’t afford to be naive as a society about this any longer. The purpose of your life, as well as mine, has nothing to do with allowing ourselves to become food for parasites. Yes, I make this point repetitively throughout my articles, but I do so because it’s necessary to do so.
And speaking of calling out evil…
Andrew Tate and the Idiot Circus
Have you heard the latest? New evidence released from court shows the diabolical lengths he went to get women into the sex industry—women who were vulnerable and would never have done it were it not for him. One of his “main girls” we know for a fact was 15 when he started “dating” her as a 30 year old. What Tate has done to at approximately 75 women (according to him) is nothing less than the “polite” version of kidnapping and enslaving them. Indeed, in my first post about him I said he and his brother are fundamentally evil psychopaths who need to be permanently removed from society, and I stand by that statement. They’re irredeemable scum who deserve to become laughingstocks before the whole world and have everything taken from them.
Maybe you’ll agree after watching this
Alas, why is such an obviously despicable excuse for the man propped up as a “model” for men? And why won’t Mike Cernovich or Candace Owens address their deep connections to him or hold him accountable for what he has provably done? Why do they continue to defend him?
Sorry folks, but a lot of “right wing” media is bullshyte. They claim to support “traditional values” but, apparently, such values goes out the window the instant a lowlife pimp shows up ready to butter them up with oodles of cash (or so it appears to me). Sure, these people say nice things—but, as the saying goes, even the Devil can quite scripture.
I said in my first post about Tate that I believe I uncovered something approximating a corruption ring within “right wing” media—I call this ring the Idiot Circus. I haven’t forgotten my promise to speak on this topic, however one of my sources basically disappeared months ago. With the new evidence coming out against the Tates, we’re almost in a position to complete what we started.
(DISCLAIMER: I haven’t made any specific accusation against any individual… yet.)
Now, this all brings us to…
Self Defense Against Cultural Hypnosis
This piece has been a long time coming. It will be in video format containing certain hypnotic instructions to follow along with.
The basic point of this piece is to show you how to be a member of society (or literally any group) while also remaining truly who you are as an individual. We will do a deep dive into the mechanics of hypnotic suggestibility, and share many practical tools to ensure that your subconscious mind remains as free as possible from the negative programming that surrounds us just about all day every day.
Hypnosis is any form of communication that bypasses your critical factor. So what do we do about cultural hypnosis? Simple: we strengthen and train our critical factor. There is a correct way to do this, and there are many incorrect ways to do it.
Think of your critical factor as being akin to a goalie in soccer, while the goal itself represents your subconscious/subjective mind. You want your train your “inner goalie” to intercept suggestions before they get “in”—at the same time, you also need to find a way to remain available to legitimately positive/useful suggestions. No matter who you are, suggestibility is a part of life that can’t entirely be avoided—that’s why, for the smooth functioning of your mind, you need to be oriented a certain way whereby your subconscious mind habitually rejects what it needs to reject, while accepting what is appropriate to accept. Rest assured, this will make more sense when we get into the piece.
And that’s Not All…
More posts, in addition to the ones mentioned above, are also in production. I’ll be doing more deep dives into law, language, and 5G war on Badlands Media. I’m tempted to hint at other works in progress, but I will withstand the temptation to share too much, too soon…
I will make a note here when the next piece on Badlands comes out so you guys know to see it.
Cheers and blessings all around.
I will definitely be updating my subscription today to support what I believe to be brilliant work and excellent journalism. ThankQ Badlands Media, y'all are awesome❕❤🙋🏻👋🏻❤🇺🇸❤🙏🏻☝🏻
